CONFIDENCE THERAPY

Self-esteem, Self-worth, & Sense of Self:

Do you experience a lack of confidence in yourself and your abilities? There can be many reasons for experiencing this. A helpful place to begin is by learning how you relate with yourself. Are you hard on yourself? Self-critical - use a lot of “should's,” “need to's,” or “if only I was perfect...then.”

This kind of dialogue is self-critical and can contribute to feeling low self-esteem/self-worth. When you feel low about yourself, it’s incredibly difficult to thrive in your relationships, work, school, and overall life. We work on exploring and confronting your critical voice so that you can shift your inner dialogue.

Therapy for self-esteem helps people separate their personal value from outside success. It quiets harsh self-talk and heals old relationship pain so they can build a stronger sense of self-worth.

Key Benefits of Therapy

  • Stop comparing: Break the link between your worth and what you achieve.

  • Quiet inner critics: Learn to silence mean thoughts about yourself.

  • Heal past pain: Fix old emotional hurts from past relationships.

  • Build confidence: Grow a stable, healthy view of who you are.

I offer confidence therapy in-person in Wheat Ridge and Boulder, Colorado. I also offer online therapy (telehealth) to provide help if you are not in the area.

I also offer Self-Compassion Workshops to any businesses, companies, schools, and/or group of people that would like to learn this essential skill.

A Holistic Approach
to Mental Health

About Dr. Natalie Stemati, Psy.D.

My personal and professional experiences have shaped an approach to therapy that recognizes the connection between the mind and body. I offer a warm, curious, compassionate, and occasionally humorous space where clients can explore their experiences and better understand themselves.

My work emphasizes depth-oriented therapy: we address the symptoms that bring you in while also exploring the underlying patterns and experiences contributing to them. Together, we identify the barriers that may be keeping you stuck, develop tools to manage the distress they create, and build a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and your world.

MY HEALING APPROACH

My approach focuses on helping you rebuild inner trust and secure, lasting confidence. Low self-esteem often lives in our physical responses—like tension, a racing heart, or a desire to shrink away. I teach you how to read these body cues and transform your relationship with fear and self-doubt. By combining mindfulness, somatic tools, and holistic nutrition support, we work together to unlock the innate confidence your body has stored away. I have personally experienced the power of a mind-body approach to healing and my intention is to pay that knowledge forward.
